Blue Java
Vegetative Phase 177 days
Fruiting Phase 95 days
Plant to Harvest 272 days

The bunch and fruit size were very impressive and much larger than the data provided by the TARS.

Growing techniques have a lot to do with the yield and plant to harvest duration. Their 437 days and a tall skinny plant probably didn't provide an accurate assessment.

Below is some data collected at harvest by our local USDA Tropical Agricultural Research Station

Pisang Abu Perak
Vegetative Phase 225 days
Fruiting Phase 138 days
Plant to Harvest 363 days

Blue Torres Strait Island
Vegetative Phase 323 days
Fruiting Phase 114 days
Plant to Harvest 437 days

Would love to see pics of the fruits side by side and hear about how they taste raw and cooked. I have Pisang Abu Perak, Blue Java, and Silver Bluggoe.
