Looking good. That's the perfect size to get through winter and get a flower mid summer 2022.

Hope so that would be awesome. I might get 6' of p-stem if this weather holds out. That's a warm sunny spot with great reflection off the windows. Love the coloring of the peeper too. Awesome plant.

I just noticed on that picture the reflection beaming at the bottom of the fence. I get that all along the fence during the winter.

I think about 4 feet or so of pstem. I’ll try to grab a picture tomorrow or Tuesday in the sunlight

Had to wait for a good sunny day, but here is my Blue Java courtesy of Akula, a lil crowded but still happy

No peepers yet, but growth in the backyard is almost at a standstill

3 nights at 29.9999 degrees has everything looking like garbage. I harvested my one and only bunch the afternoon of.

Since then it's been mid to upper 70s which means almost 90 in my back yard. We made banana bread today, best I ever had. The "fruit bites" was like cooked apples almost. Amazing. Not much of a shelf life though, seems was less than store bought.

Oof!

We haven’t had a frost yet, I think the lowest we’ve dipped is 39

Yeah we've seen 29 a couple of times but that's it. Just enough to screw me up. It did work in my favor a bit as Lou #2 is about 11' and didn't flower. I kept waiting for a flag leaf but it shut down just in the nick of time.

It's really jumping. Nice pups too. What height do you estimate the first run to flower at?

Man that’s so far ahead of mine!

I transplanted to get more sun a few weeks ago and eneded up with another leaf choke situation! Lost two new leaves in the process

My first and second year flowered on the short side at 7'-9'. I moved my third plant to a better spot and it flowered at 10'-12' with a good size bunch.

Your plant will flower by mid summer if not earlier. Its looks really good and strong.

It'll roll though. Up here at least we've had great weather but many nights in the low 50s so a few of my plants looked a little ratchet for a bit. That line along my back fence gets great sun and serious reflections off my house. A true microclimate so I'm cheating haha

Yeah it's already right at 7' with 3 pups so it's well on it's way.

Crazy thing is I gave zero protection over winter and we had some bad nights (and days). It's definitely cold hardy in my book.

Looking good! Mine is cold hardy for sure as well

Blue java was found in southwest China.
