Default Basjoo update

Just thought I'd share some pictures of my basjoos.

Here is the patch from 6/10/08:

Not growing as fast as I'd hoped for, but they are growing. Hopefully three good growing months yet?

Aww they are sweeties! They look healthy to me and can't deny that they're growing!

I don't have any Basjoos yet and it's interesting to see and hear how they're doing for members. Being in a challenged banana zone myself, I sure want to get some and hope they'll be my main banana for my 'dream landscape' of banana plants everywhere!

Can't wait to see the amount of growth next month.... please post more pics so we can see!!

Thanks,
Deb

Tim, They are growing, but sometimes it can be frustrating when they don't grow as fast as you want. If you wanna cheat, Randy's got a bunch of large Basjoo pups he's wanting to unload. Bet he'd make ya a smokin deal.

Nice Basjoos. You should get some good growth these next couple of months. I started bananas last year and after researching I decided that Basjoo was one of the bananas I wanted to try but could only find one and it never looked healthy from day one, and finally died. Lowes had them this year and I bought 2 of them and they look great. Anyway, good luck with those basjoos and keep us posted.
