I have Cavendish and Basjoo and am curious whether a corm that is still very hard, but the center is dried and suncken will come back? I have other basjoo that are thriving currently.

Sounds like many pupils in my friends 1st grade class...they need time.

Corms even when you think they are non producers are still sending out runners....
Especially Basjoo and Mekong.
Cavendish are sleepers,

Inspect the corms ,,,they could be dead.

Give the plant some time .....90 days to see .

Have fun gardening....
