Question Banana Stalk

Does one stalk only produce one bunch of bananas or will that same stalk produce yearly?

No it will only produce one(then die), but the exception is Musa double mahoi, which can produce two or more at once.

Hi Greenzy, Welcome to the forum, Bananas will produce fruit once then degenerate ( die ), the plus on this is they produce a pup or pups. New Babies to replace the plant that just fruited.

Also note that most species takes well over a year to flower, some two to three!
