Default Banana spending winter indoors? Warm or cool

I have never tried to winter a banana pup indoors before here in Texas. For several years I have had bigger plants in my garage. However this year I had the pleasure of visiting Going Bananas and after that had to buy a few pups and plant them indoors.
However even though they are in a south facing window in the bath room it is a pretty cool location and there even a draft from the window.
My Viente Cohol looks terrible, the Kandrian slightly better and the Icream looks quite good and grows.

I have another south facing window upstairs, but not quite as much light coming through but close.
However this room is much warmer.

What do you suggest moving the two that doesn't look weak (getting brown and not really pushing new growth, maybe 2 inches since I planted them) to the warmer room? It is probably 5-7 degrees warmer upstairs, could that be too hot and dry for them?

I keep reading that bananas indoor go bad if spending winter in warm and dry air but it right now it seems cooler air doesn't help.

Any Advice?

Thanks.

I have kept for two years a Dwarf Cavendish and a Veinte Cohol in my room (17-20C), in front of an often closed west facing window. I live at 44N so my sun isn't yours, for sure. They stay this way for about 3 months. No problem so far. Of course their leaves become smaller and uglier at the end of the winter, but they do recover fine in spring.
The only thing i take care to do, i pot them about 2 months before moving them indoor, so when i move them they are well established.

Pan --- if you plant the VC inground after last frost it should fruit. Very short cycle but not cold resistant so much.

Yes! I did! But the plant was a bit on the small side (wasn't even 3 feet and the summer has been cold), so it flowered too late, but now its fruit are ripening in my living room!

However this year I have a bigger plant to put in the ground in spring, so i do expect, if stars align, a flower in July/August, when i can count on an almost tropical like environment in my place. I can't wait!
