If you know anyone who has experience working for Dole or Chiquita that knows about the ripening process, please let them know about this 2 weeks consultant/instructor task in Ningbo, China. All expenses paid plus compensation. Thanks in advance for all your help. Regards, China Banana Ps. See our warehouse and ripening chamber in our pix gallery. Thanks |

Thanks, Media Hound. Peter and I had actually been communicating via Private Messages here in bananas.org. As I was telling him, this is already and old post. We had already setup 4 ripening chambers since December 2008, and is now in the middle of construction of additional 3 more chambers. At this time, we are shipping 9 containers per week to China - thats almost 800 tons of cavendish bananas per month. Thats not bad for less than one year old company. After being in industrial product market for most of my life, i wish i would have become a banana farmer and exporter sooner. This is a very lucrative market even at this world recession that we are having.
Thanks again for the suggestion. Take care, Nestor Solis President - CEO Solis Tropical Fruit Corp. Solis Tropical Fruit Corporation |
