![]() Anyone know of a leaf shredder/chipper available in the US, that can process a a decent amount of banana leaves and not clog? I would rather not machete chop and don't want to lay them on the ground without breaking them down to smaller pieces.
I have a 6.5HP Gas Harbor Freight wood chipper/shredder that will shred the leaves, but eventually clogs and is a pain to un-clog. I see there are banana chopping machines and chaffing machines that look like they are perfect for the job and probably overkill for my needs, but none seem to be available in the US. |

![]() It might help to run some regular tree cuttings every so often which might help keep clogs from forming.
