Hey all!

I thought I saw a primer on banana identification somewhere but now I can't find it. I'm a novice in Tijuana with 10 + varieties hoping to start getting fruit this year. My issue is that on several of my nanners, I mixed them up and now am not fully sure which one is which!
I know real banana identification is done at flowering time but it seems many know way before hand. I know that AAA have open petioles and B has more closed. That's about it. It gets tricky when I don't know which is my Goldfinger AAAB and which is my Gros Michel AAA! BTW, I got those latter two last year from member sdarkman last year and they are doing great.
I have a rajapuri supposedly and know that it should have wide leaves and a green pseudostem, but NONE of my bananas have total green in the pseudostem; they usually have some black. Then I have these other little guys that have wine stains and pinkish pseudostems. They look like Cavendish types. I have bananas in the ground by the bulkhead that are growing like they are dwarf and have completely round, closed petioles. Are those Orinoco ABB or even balbisiana? The latter I wouldn't even consider but I did get these latter ones in Mexico, so am open to the possibility.
As you can see, I have quite the mix-up in banana types and it is frustrating to say the least. At least I know that dwarf red is my dwarf red LOL.

I would start with posting some pictures of the different ones, reminding us what they could be, and getting advice. Personally I'm awful with the technical aspects, but often when I see pictures of a type I have had for a while and has certain distinctive aspects that I recognize, I am able to at least offer and opinion as to what it could be.
