Default Banana fungus

Our first banana crop appears to have a fungus. Can anyone identify what exactly it is? How can we prevent this fungus for the next crop? Thanks.

If the fungus is affecting the fruit it is likely cigar end rot. If it is affecting the leaves then it is likely sigatoka. Cigar end rot can be decreased by deflowering and cutting the male bud off.
