SOMEONE BROUGHT ME A BANANA TREE BACK FROM FLA A FEW YRS. AGO. IT BECAME TOO TALL AND THIN, SO I CUT THE STALK TO ABOUT 5-6 IN.IT STARTED SHOOTING UP BABYS. I HARVESTED 3 SO FAR,4MORE R SHOOTING UP.. HOW DO I FERTILIZE ALL THESE PLANTS? WILL THE STALK DIE AFTER IT STOPS PRODUCING BABYS.. THANKS BILL

if it never flowered,it should still live to produce...from florida??wild or store bought??if just found growing it is a good chance it is an orinoco..i do not know where you are but they get tall and sometimes not very thick..if it was a water sucker well they stay kind of thin..but will produce in time..even if you cut inhalf..unless bloom was making its way up and you cut but chances are you didnt and just taking its sweet old time..look around the forum on your fert. needs
