Banana with 4 locules/segments

As in the title: is this common?

I was eating a banana earlier and realised that it had 4 segments rather than the usual 3.

Each segment appears to be fully formed with a "vein" running down the the middle when viewed from the side.

Can't seem to find much about the number of segments online other than one should expect to find only 3.
