Here is a link to a site with a lot of great info for beginning growers. Actually, it's good info for all banana growers. Thought I'd post this for those who are interested as I felt it covered a lot of info in good detail. It's directed towards growers in FL but there is a lot of pertinent info regardless.

I just came across it yesterday. I thought it had a lot of great info, such as mat management, sequence of flowering, etc. that we see a lot of questions about on here. I realize that everyone doesn't have the FL climate, such as Pauley, but I think a lot of the principles apply.
