![]() Hey there everyone. I'm going to be in the Atlanta area in a while for work and will have some days to kill so I figured I would ask if anyone can suggest good nursuries or other places to view and/or buy some banana plants.
Anywhere within an hour every direction would be best. ![]() Thanks for any help. Jason

![]() I was in Atlanta last month for a week. Prior to going I did a search for nurseries and found several including Target, Walmart and Home Depot. None of them had any tropical plants including bananas. I did buy Vidalia onions to carry back to California. Don't ask me why as we have onions in California. Maybe it was that I had nothing tropical to take back. Atleast I will have onions to harvest soon.
Good luck! Andrew

![]() Yeah, but those Vidalia onions are sweet as sugar. We are about 45 min from where they grow'em. Can't get enough of them.

![]() Jay,
Here is another link to a response I got from another friend of mine that was just down in the Atlanta area a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like I need to make a trip down there myself just to look around. Please, let us know what you see when you get back... Randy Hardy Palms In Temperate Zones Board : yes |
