Dean, the phyto thing really really sucks, but a reputable nursery will abide by state laws. I thought the phyto was only for citrus due to the greening problem... but others on here have told me it's for other fruits as well. That being said, I'm sure someone on the org has the plants you are looking for and would be happy to send you some baby plants at cost of shipping ...or maybe someone in a nearby state(without restrictions) can buy it for you and ship it from there.Either way, You should wait to see if you can identify the banana plants you received before you do anything. After all, bananatree has shipped the right orders to some in the past. Hopefully you have better luck identifying your bananas than I did with mine. As I mentioned earlier, it took a whole year before I was sure my plant was not a manzano. ![]() |

As far as identifying plants are concerned. I haven't had much luck either. They are either to small or have not, yet flowered. |
