Here is a pic of my massive Black Thai. So big I could not get the whole plant in one shot. It's at least 15 feet tall, and the pups are taller than me, and I am 6 foot 3.

Man that's a specimen. Mine is growing pretty good but about 3' (or less) of pstem. I'm hoping it gets established enough to coast through the winter. Not much coming in this year except that nice rose I just potted up damn nice pack job by the way. Thanks again.

Thank you. I try to pack it so its not only well insulated, but easy for you to open. I have received many packages where its been over taped, to the point its a real pain in the butt just to unpack.
The Rose is very nice in my opinion. Very beautiful banana with the red blush on the pstem, and long, narrow leaves. It makes a nice sweet banana with floral notes if grown properly.
The Black Thai is grown in a semi shaded area under live oaks. Its one of several I am growing, but this one grew the largest. It really is much bigger than it looks in the picture. Thank you for all the nice comments about it.

Gorgeous plant Aaron! The one you sent me is doing well and has that black stem and petiole color coming in nice and dark.. they are beautiful. Have any of yours flowered?

No pressure here at all and I really don't want to be presumptuous, but if you happen to get seeds, and enough that you are willing to part with some, I would really love to buy a few from you, seeing as how its so difficult to get most varieties up here. I don't know if they would grow true, but I am certainly willing to give it a try. Usually fine to send seeds to Canada without all the hassle, unlike plant material.

Here is my Thai Black now
It's a little over 6 ft tall and still growing strong.

However, It's still green... (except the petioles)
It definitely has the Thai Black 'leaf curl' so I wonder what gives
Maybe the pups will come out black but who knows if it'll pup this year considering it'll start cooling down here in a month.

Hoping mine will pup too if for nothing else to know that it's on a roll underground. No pups on my praying hands, the Black and a few others but the Orinoco I got from you has 3 or more and the blue Java from Akula has a nice one popping. It's 87 here this week/weekend so it's business as usual for now.
