Default An anti-dirty rains counter measure?

Hi friends,
My unidentified banana(Santa Catarina Prata??!) began to flower.

However it started the rainy season in the main lands of Japan, and it rains
almost every days, spreading with various noxious chemical factors and viruses. In order to prevent bananas from contaminating by these factors and
to preserve commercial value of their bananas, banana producers in Okinawa
Islands who grow them in the open field cover the banana flower buds by
plastic bag with the bottom open for air circulation.
I just follow their method.

Good tip! I might have to try that this winter to keep the cold rains off my fruits (if I get any by then...). Thanks!
