Default Another banana post at Dokmai Dogma

Check this link for a new post from the plant blog from Thailand. The writer, Eric Danell, discusses another Thai banana variety and provides a link to a banana group in Thailand. It's an interesting post.

An acidic banana Dokmai Dogma

Oops, I hadn't checked out the Thai banana club website before I posted here; the club website is mainly in Thai. Still, perhaps we can still make some connections through it. And there are photos.

Too bad I don't read Thai. Their website doesn't look as nice as ours.
Some people go bananas, I went plantains.

Paste the URL into Google Translate and you can read what they are saying. I did it earlier!

I agree our site is much nicer.

From a document I found about SE Asian names for bananas, the English name for that one appears to be "Silver Bluggoe", a close relative to what we'd call Orinoco.
