The amazing Musa velutina!!!
It is hard to believe that this (3-1-08)...
...could turn into this in less than 5 months! I know these are different years, but the result has always been the same!!! Velutina ROCKS!!! |

Re: The amazing Musa velutina!!!
I love the taste of Velutina.
Eating it with all those seeds is tricky, but its worth it! You should add your experiences with it to the wiki: Musa Velutina - Bananas Wiki Anyway, those are great before and after shots. Regards

Re: The amazing Musa velutina!!!
Great work, Randy. You are indeed a talented gardener and craftsman. I can't wait to get my bananas growing. The 70-75°F weekend makes me want to get planting!

Re: The amazing Musa velutina!!!
It is amazing randy how much a difference a month or two makes with bananas. I dont cut my bananas in the back yard. You can imagine difference what that might look like. My trees now have at lease three leaves. I am loving it and cant wait for fruit. Nice pics. I got to get musa velotina.

Re: The amazing Musa velutina!!!
Did you get anymore started? We hope to propagate about 100 here and sell off as lamdscape items. What we get from seed will determine what happens.
