Hi
I got 2 species of bananas , Musa Tropicana and Musa Dwarf Chyla 1.Now my question is what is the difference between these two ? they look the same, the only difference i have seen is that the chyla pups alot faster even at young stage. 2.Can they Flower indoors and produce fruit, if not what is the best species for flowering indoors ? 3.Can they survive hot weather and full sun ? 4.What are the light demands of the tropicana? 5. Im experimenting alot with the dwarf chyla and dwarf cavendish in cold hardiness, but what is the hardiness of the tropicana ? And i got some questions about the musa basjoo 6. i got some small specimen. can they be overwintered indoors at room temperature or do they have special demands, would they get damaged from the temperature fluctation? 7.what is the ideal indoor temperature for the basjoo to keep on growing ? 8. Do basjoos need sunlight or can they stay indoors without sun but with normal daylight ?
