Default Aloha Tropicals

Does anyone have any recent experience with buying from Aloha Tropicals? I know some members did not receive what they ordered. Aloha Tropicals is the only nursery I can find that still offers the High Color Mini. What do you guys think? Should I give them a try?
Thanks
Kevin

Their plants are expensive. I got a Kru and Praying Hands in 2014 and I still don't know if I got the correct plants.

I ordered 3 plants I was looking for - popoulu, hua moa, and pitogo. I received Thai Black, possibly Mysore, and possibly Rhino horn. The mysore looking one does not grow properly - collapses at about 7' tall. Emailed the guy and he refused to do anything about it. The whole reason people keep ordering is because he has things listed that no one else has - problem is, no one I have heard from has received what they ordered.

Thankfully, a forum member set me up with Hua Moa and Pitogo. I think that is the only way to help guarantee what you are getting - buy from a forum member who has actually had their plant fruit and verified what it is.

Take a couple dice, choose a number between 1 and 12, and roll them. If you're ok with your odds of getting the dice to show the number you picked, by all means order from Aloha Tropicals!

If you want to roll the dice it's cheaper to buy from Florida Hill. I might have even got the Gros Michel I ordered.
