Default All 4 bananas are growing well

[I continue to be amazed at the growth rate of my 4 bananas. I kept them in the sunroom all winter (after purchasing at the bamboo farm in Savannah last fall). I put them out after danger of frost and they have just grown and grown. The main plant on the ice cream died, but put out a healthy pup. It now has another smaller pup. The Kumanaba has a tiny pup coming on. Sweet heart and the other on (I forget) are growing well, but no pups. These bananas get under your skin and I can see where I could well become obsessive. Such FUN![IMG]https:

They are addictive. When they start to give birth you will be hooked.

I am so looking forward to seeing the first bloom. I hope it will be next spring! I just attended a master gardener meeting on growing bananas (here in the low country). The speaker has an entire grove of bananas and had 17 hands last spring. WOW! I can hardly wait.

Just the huge leaves swaying in the wind is enough for me, however, when I got my first bloom last year, I was speechless at the many colors and grandness of the bloom. Hopefully I'll get 2 this year. It's getting about time for a flag leaf to show.

Make sure you post a picture of the big event.
