smart idea about growing the bananas for next summer. These little guys grow fast and you'll have something fun to grow through the winter and some beauties to plant out in the spring.

I sure hope so. I also think it is a smart idea to get the tray from ag. starts and just sell them right when you get them, rather than a whole half tray. You are getting quite a good reputation!except for robert, but it was just a lack of communication, no biggie

I know nothing about either of those. Do you have any pics or could you tell me about them. How tall they grow, if they fruit etc...

all of these produce edible bananas. High color mini is a super dwarf cavendish type. Truly tiny is a super dwarf version of the 'brazilian' banana.

Truly tiny was developed by a grower about 1/2 mile from my house. The nursery is called "truly tropicals" - hence the name truly tiny. The owner says this is a dwarf form of the brazilian banana. So it's probably the only dwarf non cavendish type of desert banana around.

Little prince is an extra super dwarf cavendish.

How big does the fruit get on these and are there any growing considerations during the winter indoors?

high color mini produces smaller sized cavendish desert type bananas. Truly tiny produces bunches of brazilian type bananas. The only consideration is give them enough light, water, and keep an eye out for spider mites.

Hello, I am new to the forum but I am very interested in bananas. I am currently growing an unknown, to myself, banana but I would interested in the Red Iholene. What kind of cost are we talking about?

Thanks,

Jeffrey, the ones I got from you are doing great. I'd be interested in getting the rest of the truly tiny from you. No Little Prince left?

Thanks,
the trays are 72 count and 1.10 per plant. Trays can be split in 50% of one variety and 50% of another variety for an 18 dollar fee (from agristarts).
