African Red hardiness

I'm getting a African Red from, Steve. Does anybody know how hardy these are? There is not much info in Wiki.

From what I've read, anything read isn't very hardy. Good luck anyways!

Thanks, Harvey, I guess I'll have to bring it inside the house as I have no greenhouse.

I'm not positive but, I think you're talking about the one I bought today. It is called red leaved it's from Ethiopia. The mininum temp is 30 to 40 degrees.
Suited for zone 10 & 11. Botanical name is Ensete Ventricosum Maurelii. I got this info from the card that came with mine. If you google this you can read a lot more and see pictures. I hope this is what you're looking for. Good Luck!
