this is what we achieved using the formula for strong healthy plants
root growth was a priority!
I am most probably going to get this going again with maybe the same variety or a completely new one....lets see

This Ae Ae project was a fun project grown at my home with Nanamans help...Have a few new ideas I want to do but not at this time.

Been some time since any news but I recently tried testing having the Ae Ae "nubs" or "eyes" that are extremely small and hard to root in the mist house and to my surprise it has been of great success with 80 percent ratio compared to almost nothing when not with some added mist and I also used a completely different soil. Sungrow number 8 mix by Fafard.

Planted a sword pup a couple weeks ago and shes starting to push out a new leaf as of today.

Thanks Greenster for posting to this old thread. Just finished looking at those pics again, and they are really beautiful. Kinda bittersweet though, was looking at the dates of pics, and realized how much time has passed. Those Ae Ae's are always breathtaking to look at! Glad to see you motivated again.

Hope everyone is safe and well.
2020 taught me alot about the things we love and how sometimes it can come to an end real quick...Covid! Well I decided to get back on the bike and give it all I got again with the limited yard space. Here is an updated date pic.
I now have 6 Ae Ae in the yard and they are looking sharp!!!! One of them planted in October is so vigorous that I had forgotten what beauty these Bananas possess! The pic I include of the Ae Ae has like 6 or 7 monster sword pups and is showing off Her Beauty.
This is the New Propagation Project!
