![]() i got 2 variety that according to you is 1000 finger. first pic is from Sumatra island, my hometown,.its fruit big enough and edible. we called its Pisang Rotan. its tall about 4 meter. but second pic, from Java, its have so little fruit and almost nothing to be eat ed. and tall 2-3 meter. are they same 1000 fingers?.

![]() Yes, the Pisang Rotan is more commonly called 'Pisang Jari Buaya' (English names are 'Crocadile Fingers' and 'Monkey Fingers'), and the 'Thousand Fingers' is correctly ID'd, a common Indonesian name is 'Pisang Seribu'. They are not closely related.
