Re: 1st bloom
Move the plant inside or into a temperature controlled greenhouse.
I have my potted plants in a small greenhouse with an electric heat to maintain 60° F at night. I just recovered my greenhouse yesterday and within 30 min after putting the roof on the inside temp was 120° (outside temp was 72° F). Knowing your location could help; but not much since you state a freeze is in the forecast for your area. You should introduce your self in the new member forum so we all know your location & growing zone and types of bananas you are growing. Welcome to the forum. My plants in containers will get late season flowers and I will lose them in December-January. I have made attempts to grow them out but it only prolongs the inevitable . Last edited by cincinnana : 11-16-2017 at 10:23 AM. |
