Default 12 in tall basjoo blooming

the mat of basjoos beside my drive way put out a shoot from last years sudostem and immediately put out a flag with no other leafs i never protect this mat and they just freeze down every year i assume this one was near to blooming when the freeze got it and the bud survived over winter in the remains of the sudo stem there are two other stems on the same corm and i am curious to see if they will sopport the leafless stalk to maturiti i will post a picture when i get time
