Default 1 mo. old looking shaky

I've had my dwarf cavendish for about a month and am not sure if I'm doing what I should. I cut off the leaves that wilted away from transplant shock and have gotten one new leaf that is about 8" long but is now wilting. I can get it in really good sun for most of the day but was wondering if it's too much too soon. The plant looks like its angling towards the sun and wasn't sure if I should rotate the plant so it grows more straight. And I've been trying(hard) not to over-water but with my well-draining potting soil, it always looks dry even though I can feel moisture an inch down. Is my plant trying to tell me something? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I would take it out of it's pot and inspect the roots and corm for rot. If so, cut off and allow to dry at least overnight, then repot DRY for a day then water normally. An adult can pretty much handle sitting in water during warm weather but the pups can rot if the weather's cool...
Cheers,
Pat

rotate it once a week and it will quit leaning towards the light. it will finally grow straight if you do this for a while. i have to do it with every plant i own.

Yes, the lean is caused by the plant cells growing unequally due to only getting the light on one side. As long as you have your plant inside this will happen. Rotating or providing strong overhead light is the only remedy.
