Question what is a phee gyan?

An accquaintance of mine wants to know what kind of banana this is, and it's driving me ... well, you know.

Anyway, the local (Burmese) name is phee gyan. Here is a photo, with a hand and a copy of Reader's Digest for scale:

Sorry I have no photos (yet) of the plant or the flower. But I am told this is a good banana to enjoy raw, and the inside is a pale yellow-white, like a Cavendish.

Any ideas?
