Hi all, over a few weeks I will get some musa corms, I will also get
Musa ornata Muas Ornata red ruby musa ornata Royal burgundy. can you please post some pics of these plants? and what is the difference between the Ornata and the ornata Red ruby?? I looked it up on internet but there aren't much pics of the Red ruby... thanks ![]()

I don't know the difference, but couldn't you contact the place you're getting them from and find out? They might be able to send you a picture, or at least give you a description over the telephone or e-mail.

When I hear Ornata, I think of a pink bloom. The ruby should be a much darker color. Not sure if this helps or not, but that is the best I can do with information provided...

You could also just try an image search on any search engine. However, sometimes when I've done that I get pics that obviously aren't what they say they are. For example, I've seen lots of confusion between Musa mannii and coccinea and they look nothing alike, so beware if you try that!

on internet are there enough pics of ornata, and o. royal burgundy, but if i search for ornata red ruby I find only 10 pics or so, and they are the same as ornata on that sites.
but if I wait for 2 years I have a bloom in it (i hope )
