Hey all,
is there a difference between the normal Nagensium and the Florale Noir?
i really like the nagensium, beautiful plants.

Daen, I have the Musa nagensium 'Floral Noir', but not the true form of M. nagensium. I will say that the 'Floral Noir' looks a whole heck-of-a-lot like M. cheesmani.

I have a true M. nagensium, hopefully it does good (its just a seedling right now) and I will take good pictures for comparison.

i think m. nagensium and
m. chesemanii are the same,
isnīt it?

M.nagensium/chesemanii is one of the best looking musas.

Nope, they are two completely different species. M. nagensium is actually a very strange banana and seems to be segregated from all other species, in the past I believe there was even consideration of putting it in its own subgenera, though today it is still classified as a Eumusa.

Gabe- I have heard that nagesium has a yellow flower. Is floral characteristics the only difference?
