Ensete ventricosum is a very variable species, and 'Maurelli' is not the only non-green variety. It is possible it is another variety which has lots of red in the leaves but may not be the exact same as 'Maurelii'.

Jazz,
Santa Morellii and Maurelii are one and the same. They were sold as small bedding plants last year in Bright orange pots under the Tropical Express banner. And another one you may find on eBay as Tandarra Red...also the same as Maurelii too. Mark
