Winter Update
 

Here are by banana progress photos from the end of 2012



This was a very small spear pup I took right before winterization. I thought it was a gonner, his brother didn't make it. A few weeks ago I chopped the brown stem and liquid oozed for a few days. It looked dead again. A week or so ago I peeled away some of the dead and found this. At least it's still green!

Here's a sucker pup taken at the same time. It's grown like crazy.



This photo was one of four I chopped from the mat around August.



It wilted badly for over a month then finally a leaf grew. The other two have grown since the end of October when I brought them all inside. Growing very slowly, there is yet another leaf popping out! I might just get a bigger pot for this one and leave it potted next summer, I'm not sure yet.

Anyway, Happy New Year everyone! Happy growing in 2013 since we're all still here!

Congrats , i have alot of Bananas that look like that .

Glad that it made it
