Anybody heard anymore about the Variegated Basjoo? I'd love to have one if anyone has a pup or can guide me in the right direction. Thanx-Nate

Nate, I have had one now for a few years. I can tell you it burns really bad in the sun and its very slow to produce pups. I have had one pup on mine for well over a year now and its still no bigger than 2". I did worry at one time when the leaves were coming thru plain green but a re pot into Ericaceous compost seemed to help and now after a week or so the new leaves get the dream markings on them.
There are a couple of pics in my gallery of it. I have a list as long as your arm of people who are after a pup.
