Frito - I have my remote thermometer in a tree out in the open at just over 6 feet off the ground. I had it under the overhang of my studio but started to realise that that was not accurate enough. So the other day, like you pointed out about the NWS, they said we'd get down to 32 but reality was 29.

So I've been very doubtful now about what they call for and it's difficult to determine how close it will be due to my location to Lake Pontchartrain, which is generally misleading and over-abused: 18F is 18F, which we got back in January. There is no 'radiant heat from the lake' at 18F when it's 18F in Folsom.

So they're calling for 19F Tuesday morning for the Northshore, which means it could be as cold as 25F at my house. I won't know, of course, until that morning.
