Stems separating
Hi all, first year with a musa basjoo here in NJ. Seems to be growing fine, but this is the second leaf/stem that has separated from the rest. Is this normal? Should they be cut off?

Re: Stems separating
Some would say leave it but there is no hurt in cutting at the base where it connects with the main stem.
