Your current soil temp @ 3" depth is 78° / 79°. My soil temp just got up to 71° (@ 4"/6") in the past couple of days. In February my soil temp was in the low 50°s. ... You need to fertilize the hell out of them if you want Nanas.

We are getting warmer, some daytime 70's but 40's at night. Couple cooler days this week and then hopefully warmer. Soil temp 52F.

Keep watching the soil temps and report which nanas pup or shoots.

The good measure of Spring coldness is the time that the leaves develop on the trees. I doubt that meteorologists keep records of that, but, I take mental notes. In the Chicago area, trees usually turn green during the last week of April. Right now, tree buds are barely visible and I can't tell whether leaf development will be during the first week of May. If I remember correctly, last year, the trees turned green during the second week of April. If this year it's during the second week of May or later, wow, I don't remember that ever happening before. I'll see and keep you posted.
