Default Overwintering Musa sp. Helen's Hybrid

Whats the best way to overwinter one of these so I don't loose the stem?

Should I wait until minor frost hits or dig it up before?

Thanks

Cold Re: Overwintering Musa sp. Helen's Hybrid

I winter most of mine under the house. A lot of people wait till a frost but I do mine before, just to have it done and be prepared for winter. You could bring it in if you've got the room. I'm bringing in some of my small ones like my Siam Ruby and my super dwarf cav.
