Need advice for wintering Musa Basjoo

I purchased my first two hardy banana trees this year. One is still very small and the other is about 3 1/2 feet tall. I live in zone 6 and need advice on how to winter them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

You may want to get other opinions on these but I myself would move the smaller one indoors for the winter but the 4 ft one should be able to survive the winter by just putting mulch around the base of the plant and protecting it. The basjoo is meant to be a cold hardy banana that should survive pretty harsh winters, but just the same take some chicken wire and make a cage about 10" from the base of the tree and then fill it with mulch.
