Drummer My First Bananas

These just came in. They are the first banana plants I have ever had, and I bought them on eBay! M. Basjoo I'm taking them home tonight to pot up until it's safe to plant them in the ground.

PS - Sorry for the newbie question, but: why is it recommended to upload images to your gallery instead of as an attachment. If it so strongly encouraged why provide the option of attaching? Just wondering!

Nice plants. Based on the packaging I'm going to guess you got them from Martha. I got a pair of beautiful Ensete Maurelii from her about 10 days ago.

Good question Steve. The gallery is used to minimize page loading of attachments and to keep a record for further references, such as for use in the wiki, etc. I am not an expert in computers, but I believe it will also save space on the servers by attaching a link to the gallery.
Congratulations on your new bananas!

now that you have your first nanas, every time you go anywhere you will be looking for them. when you go to a gh youll be saying," gee i wonder if they have nanas." or when you go to dairy queen youll be saying,"gee do i want a nana split, or a nana shake....dude just get them all....hahahahaha. or when you go to lowes, h.d. or walmart, kmart or anywhere they have dirt your first thought is gonna be.....do i have enough dirt and mix to pot these new (havent gotten yet) babies up....
welcome to the wonderful world of ,"oh my gosh i have got to get me 12 of these". not like nanas are addictive or anything.....least its better then drugs and alcohol....unless its banana beer. oh btw....i HAVE got to get some more dirt, im out! UHHHHHHHHHHHHH

KJ - You are right I got them from Martha! She packs them up so carefully, I was just so impressed with how they looked out of the box. Of course I'm just one state over from her. Mskitty - have you seen naners in HD and Lowes?

Steve, after you post in your gallery click on one of your pictures. At the bottom of the pictures you will see "Code for bulletin boards". Click on the code, then copy it (right click should work). Paste the code into your post, like this:
