Musa Picasso

I ordered a Musa Picasso from Plant Delights nursery last year and it did pass the cold hardy test. This was the coldest winter in Richmond, VA since I have been here in 21 years and it got down to -1. The Picasso came back up! I mulched it with leaf mulch but not very heavily. I did lose my 11 yr old Windmill Palm this winter. :-(.

Good to know! I appreciate knowing about successes. I'm on the north side of Atlanta and trying bananas for the first time this year...won't know until next year what will make it through the winter here - reports like this are encouraging.
