Re: First year in the Ground ! Musa Abb Dajiao - Firenze Italia
For now i have publicated this photo . The only method i am able to do till now . I cut off a majior part of the stalk back in March the 10th early afternoon . And where i stopped cutting it looked pretty good . Then slowly increased the height of the core...then...after 2 weeks and more or less , all of a sudden , in a few hours the plant grows to cover the core with the outer layers . Then it continues to grow slowly but till now we are more or less under the medium temperatures by 2 weeks or more . The center has a brighter part . It has also the form of overlapping and compressing the leaves . The outer layers made space for the central part . I hope to be able to publicate clearer photoS and , being italian , to write more or less clear . Someone have experienced something like this ? To be more precise i have also controlled the Corm and escavated the ground around the base to finally look to visible roots that were hard and of normal colour . And that around 2 weeks ago or so .

Thank you very much Cincinnana ! I am pleased of your reply . I precise that the bananaplant was totally uncovered but , i permit myself to say that i (tried to work) have worked in a 'biodinamical' way a lot the ground for drainage ! Official gardeners sprinkled a bit of manure on top and i worked with organic sicilian vermicompost on top
