Dog ate my new Basjoo!!

Just bought my first two basjoo's and my husky decided to use one as a chew
toy!!!
It's broke about halfway up,it's a little over 3 feet tall.
Is it as good as dead,if not what should I do??

Cut it off just below the break and keep the dog away it should do fine.

A knife, I try and use something big and sharp enough to cut it cleanly in one pass. A 8 inch carving knife works wonderfully if you get back into the kitchen before the wife notices ;)

:ha: I use a serrated filet knife for trimming lots of plants; it works great on bananas.

Ok,hope it works!
I just planted them in the pots the night before!!
Gonna get some tomato plant cages and put em in the pots.
If Diesel gets em again,well he just better not!!!
