Desert Cold Hardiness testing

Well, it hasn't been freezing here yet, but the damage from the recent cold spell and high winds are taking their toll:

Bananas having problems:
Manzano
Kru
SH3640
Siam Ruby
Mona Lisa
Williams

All seem to have very drooping leaves with petiole weakening. Some have had leaves kink and hang down. Apparently, the coolness has weakened their vigor. I will be cutting all of these back to allow them to go dormant over winter, but stored in the garage to keep the frost off of them.

The rest of the gang seem to be doing ok. Surprisingly, the Ae Ae's aren't too bad yet.

Wow Scot , you must have some wild weather swings out there! Here in zone 6 NJ currently it's 75 for the high ,we did have some real cold(high 30's a couple of weeks ago). I still have a giants Alocasia "persian palm outside but lately the low has been about 50.
