![]() Never cut a leaf off if it is still green. As long as it's still green it's getting food & energy from the sun. Nana leaves always look tattered in high wind. Don't cut anything unless it's brown. The more leaves they have, the bigger & better the bunch will be.

![]() Patty's absoultely right. If the leaf is still green it's still doing its job and needs to stay on the tree. Tattered leaves are perfectly normal on bananas, especially in windy places, but they're designed to keep working even when they're in shreds.
