Cold hardy flowering ornamental bananas

What has been your experiences with ornamental flowering bananas in colder zones.
So far for me Musa ornata, Musa ornata 'Royal purple', Musa veluntia, Musa violecea and Musellea lasiocarpa have shown good cold tolerance in coastal northwestern US.
I have tried Musa mannii on the cool coast(rarely above 70F) and it seems to grow great in colder weather, but haven't tested it's actually cold hardiness. Musa ornata's and Musa veluntia seemed to need more heat in the summer, and Musellea lasiocarpa seemed happy just about anywhere.
Musa african red, Musa laterita, Musa coccinea, and Musa bordelon all seemed not cold hardy.
Which others have shown promise for you and what zone did they survive.
Anyone try Musa rose in cold zones? Other Ornatas varities?
