cold hardy banana's which are the best..

Hi everyone I'm living in zone 7b northern alabama. I was wondering what banana's you grow in similar zones?? I only have basjoo this year and am hoping to expand next year. I dont mind wrapping them every year, or bringing them in for there first winter. I however dont want to be digging them up every year to store them. Just wondering what ones i can look for.
thanks jen

I'm almost 2 zones colder than you in zone 6A, and here's an update on my collection so far.
Steve's garden: Fall update on the Banana plants

I also have musa mekong giant on order already since that is supposed to have purple psuedostems, grow faster than musa basjoo, and perhaps focus on gaining size as opposed to musa basjoo which seems to be more aggressive in producing as many pups as possible.

Definitely Velutina and Saba might do well if wrapped as well. If you are willing to wrap your bananas during the winter, you have a lot of options since a southern zone 7 is much milder than one by me!
