Just a couple of pics of my bananas hanging out in the basement for the winter. I have a 10ft tree of the one on the left sleeping for the winter that I hope once planted again in the spring someone can identify for me. They seem to be doing well for me with just flourescent tubes and a basement of 62 degrees. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas![IMG]

Mudcat, what kind of flourescent tubes are you using and how many? TIA, Uncrichie.

I just have a shop light with 2 40watt SUNSHINE lights. Nothing fancy here, just now really begining to get hooked on tropicals. The basjoo does quite well with a new leaf about every 2 weeks. Just enough to keep it growing through the winter. With the weather we've been having around here I might just try leaving one out next year.

Thanks for the info. Yea, we hit 73 on the backyard thermometer today. Way too warm for this time of year. Uncrichie.
