Pinwheel Banana Flowers

This is a very good year for growing bananas in Arkansas. While the summer was dry, we had bought of rain here and there with just a slight drought. I was awarded with blooms from my two types of bananas: musa basjoo and musella lasiocarpa. My musa basjoo clump is 3 years old. My musella started producing a flower in early spring and continued to produce flowers all along the pseudostem all summer. The blooms lasted throughout the growing season.

Nice pics, Austin. Your Musella is the most prolific-flowering Musella I've ever seen! Amazing.
